Faith and Freedom 250: Constitution Sunday

Join Rev. Carolyn C. Cavaness, the historic 53rd Pastor of Mother Bethel AME Church and the first woman to serve as pastor in the congregation’s history, as she presides over a special Statement of Faith during Faith & Freedom 250.

This will be an extraordinary evening of theater, music, and community unity. Admission is free and open to the public!

Mother Bethel stands on the oldest parcel of land continuously owned by African Americans in the United States. From this historic place, Rev. Cavaness continues a legacy of faith, leadership, service, and freedom established more than two centuries ago.
